Year Of Project:
2010
Project Summary:

17 fourth-year architecture students participated in this Hamer Center for Community Design supported urban and community design studio. The questions framed by the studio project were ad¬dressed through collaboration with Greenmount West community members facilitated by the nonprofit agency Jubilee Baltimore. Engagement with the Greenmount West Community took place during three important junctions during the course of the semester: 1) during an initial site visit at the beginning of the project; 2) during a community design charrette mid-way through the design process; and 3) with community members, including planners, community advocates, and developers participating in the final design review for the project.
